Plague Chapter 1 and 2
Here’s a look at the first couple chapters. Enjoy.
Chapter 1
A man takes something that holds resemblance to a video camera. Trying to find the Record button, the man sets the camera down and itches his head of Red, scraggly hair. The man, finding some lice on his fingers, decides to carry on with working the camera.
Finally turning it on, the man says, “Hey. I’m Norman Algo. I’m a survivor of the Henzeco plague. For now.” The man turns the camera to the big road. “As you can see, nothing is here. Most of my family is dead from this horrible bacteria. The only other person I know alive is my son.” Norman turns off the camera. “Jon!” He yells. “Common, we gotta get moving!” Jon, Norman’s son, slowly wakes up.
“Dad, shut up. I want to sleep…” Jon quietly told Norman. Norman, slightly irritated, grabs Jon’s slightly large ear and slaps him.
“Look,” Norman whispers, “I want to live, and I think you don’t want to be left here to die. So get up or get lost!”
Jon, still half asleep, mind foggy from all the beer he drank last night, said, “Then leave, I just want sle…” Norman sighed and started to walk away. Remembering the gun in Jon’s pocket, he walked over and searched him for the Desert Eagle. After 5 minutes, he finds it and loads it. Patting Jon’s brown hair, that beautiful hair just like Susan’s, he walks off.
Chapter 2
Part 2
Jon, rather impatient, whispered to himself, “Where is it?” Searching through his own back pack, he found a strange black box. Opening it, he finds a cell phone. “Wow, this thing is old.” He says, holding the old cell phone. Press 1 for speed dial, a voice picks up.
“Talk,” Says the man.
“I’m here.” Jon told the man. “I have the photo.”
“Did you ditch your dad.” The man asked in a flat, toneless voice. “Yeah,” Jon responded, “Now hurry up or the photo ends up gone.”

Norman was frantically looking through his back pack. He needed that picture of Susan. Beautiful Susan. That picture has all the clues to find how to live. Thinking, he remembered it was with Jon. “Shit!” Turning around, everything went pitch black. No. Not now. Not the jard!
